15 in AP poll; No. 12 in coaches' poll

Florida State's ranking in the college football polls: AP, USA Today Coaches

From No. 10 to unranked in two weeks. Miami football falls out of the polls

Despite the "weird" feel to Utah's 19-14 win over Oregon State Saturday, the Utes moved up in the national rankings for the second consecutive week.

Ole Miss slipped 11 spots to 23rd in the Associated Press poll and 13 spots to 22nd in the Amway poll. Navy finished the 2015 season ranked 18 in the country. LSU is ahead of Auburn in the Coaches poll at No. 23, while they find themselves at No. 25 in the AP poll. Teams receiving votes from the Pac-12 include Colorado, Washington State, Stanford, and Arizona State. Arkansas 5-2 18. Tennessee 5-2 19.

The AP Top 25 and USA TODAY Coaches Poll were both issued out on Sunday afternoon, and each featured an assortment of teams from the Southeastern Conference. In the coaches rankings, Ohio State was listed No. 1 on two ballots; Clemson on only one.

Five teams ranked in the Top 25 lost on Saturday, including Miami, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin; however, only Miami and Virginia Tech lost to unranked opponents. The SEC has eight teams ranked in the top-25 in both polls; with Florida appearing as the third highest ranked team in each. And, The AP has Nebraska #8 and Baylor #9, while those positions are reversed in the coaches' poll. The game is at 7 p.m. Thursday on ESPN.
