The new series of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" has seen Kim talk in detail for the first time about the traumatic experience of the headline-grabbing armed robbery she suffered a year ago - revealing that she thought she would be raped and killed.
New details have emerged of Kim Kardashian West's infamous October Paris robbery.
During the show, Kanye told his wife: "If anything happened to you, I wouldn't have stopped until they were dead".
'When Kourtney [her sister] had a passport problem, I thought to myself that something bad was going to happen.
The man then held a gun up to her head. "They are going to rape me.'" Kardashian tearfully recalled. "I knew something wasn't quite right", she said.
Peeking out her door, she saw two men dressed as police officers grab the hotel's concierge, who was holding a key to Kardashian's room. During one scene, she's on her way back to NY with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her beau Corey Gamble, as Kim laments, "People like Howard Stern said that I should go to jail if this is fake..."
On Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the mother of two opened up about the life-threatening experience and how she managed to survive the attack.
"What I think happened now, after thinking about it so much, is that there was probably a group of guys that were following us the entire trip", she said, theorizing on how she became a target.
Kim recounted hearing footsteps pounding up the stairs while she was in bed. The thieves stole almost $ 10 million from the KUWTK star, including a 15-carat ring given to her by husband Kanye West. According to Kourtney herself, she got a call around 3 a.m. from Simone, who had heard Kim say "take whatever you want" to the robbers before Kim called her screaming for help. "I knew something was wrong".
No wonder she chose to take a social media break.
Kardashian was not shot, however, and instead was placed in the bathtub, where she was found later.
If you are in the United Kingdom and haven't seen it yet (kudos for not giving in and streaming), Kim speaks openly for the first time about the horrific robbery she endured a year ago in Paris.
The concierge told her to give them her ring - a $4 million gift from husband Kanye West. But at the time, they were all she could think about.
Seventeen people were arrested in January in connection with the crime. How Kim's family reacted to her robbery was every bit as heartbreaking as you'd imagine, and obviously, everyone was glad that she was OK. Kardashian and her sister and mother left Paris immediately to reunite in NY with her husband, Kanye West, and their children.
A stoic Kim seemed to have incredible perspective surrounded by her sisters.
