The series also promises X-Men characters Thunderbird, Polaris, and Blink as part of that underground network, and some of them appear to make extremely brief appearances in this first teaser.

The X-Men collaboration between writer Matt Nix and director Bryan Singer, The Gifted, has been given the green light to go to series. Aside from these shows, Cloak & Dagger (Freeform), Runaways (Hulu) and New Warriors (Freeform) have also been ordered and will be arriving in 2018.

The Plot: Family adventure series The Gifted, from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Rounding out the cast are Sean Teale (Reign), Jamie Chung (GOTHAM), Coby Bell (Burn Notice), Emma Dumont (Aquarius), and Blair Redford (Satisfaction).
The show is called The Gifted and the pilot was directed by frequent X-Men movie director Bryan Singer. Nix and Singer, along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jim Chory, and Jeph Loeb will all serve as executive producers.
